We value the family at The Avenue and see children as gifts from God (well most days). We also embrace the responsibility of raising them as an entire church. Avenue Kids is structured so that it's not only transforming the lives of the littlest ones, but also those of parents and the church family as a whole.

Child Care During Service

We meet at the Hilton Garden Inn where we offer child care for birth-age 5 during our 10:45 service. Each worker has completed a background check, and we have a security system in place for our nursery. For the elementary-aged kiddos, we have a special bulletin for them as they sit in service with us.

** NOTE: WE WILL BE TAKING A BREAK FOR AVENUE KIDS CONNECTED AT 9:30 THROUGHOUT JULY. WE WILL RESUME CLASSES ON AUGUST 15, 2010.

Avenue Kids Connected at 9:30

This ain't your grandma's Sunday School. Here's a glimpse of what the our family ministry looks like at The Avenue:

• We format our classes to be more of a Life Group setting for the kiddos, with each class having one or two dedicated adult teachers. Each week teachers prepare a Bible lesson as well as a craft and activity.


• Avenue Kids is at 9:30 every Sunday, before worship service. To focus on our children, no other adult classes are scheduled during this time. We encourage parents to be engaged in their kids' classrooms by either helping lead or observing what goes on in class.


• We have age-appropriate life groups for babies, 2's&3's, 4's&5's, grades 1-3rd, and grades 4-5.
