At The Avenue, we keep the crockpot in style and old-fashioned church potluck alive.
The last Sunday of every month we have Let's Eat!, or an event where we all bring something to eat and dig in together after worship service. We took the first church in Acts seriously when we read “they ate together”, and thought we should do the same.
As an Avenue tradition, it's a great way to get to know one another, test out our cooking skills, or see if we can buy the potato chip brand that gets eaten the fastest. |
