Click here for details about the Nov. 8 Missional Project Day Every few months, we rally the troops and invade our community together. We plan several projects that help us meet the people in our community, give encouragement to those who have existing relationships, and create opportunities for everyone in the church to be missional! Some of the project ideas include: - Hosting free music lessons
- House cleanups
- Assembling cookie mixes for Avenue families and giving them a list of how to be missional with the cookies they bake
- Taking special gifts to nursing home workers
- Making blankets for homeless people
- Coat drives at the end of school
- Back to School baskets for teachers
- Neighborhood leaf raking
What makes each project we do missional is that we either have an existing relationship with the people we are serving, or we are engaged in an activity that is opening up doors to new relationships. Our projects help teach others how to be missional and empower others in the church.
